Meadow & Moon is built on the idea that not everything has to be new to be special, and not everything special has to be expensive — sometimes the best things are the ones that are found, made, reused, or passed along.

Meadow & Moon is a curated collection of slow goods, secondhand finds, and thoughtfully chosen everyday objects — including clothing, accessories, and home goods. I’ve always enjoyed collecting useful, beautiful, or interesting things and giving them a second life, whether that’s through resale, repurposing, or simply sharing a great find with someone who will love it.

In addition to curated secondhand and found pieces, I also create and occasionally release small batches of handmade jewelry and other creative projects. Meadow & Moon is part shop, part creative outlet, and part collection of things I believe are worth keeping, using, and passing along.

Meadow & Moon also grows out of many years spent in Burlington’s indie craft and maker community. I was a co-founder of the Burlington Craft Mafia, a group formed to create space for indie artists, crafters, and makers who didn’t quite fit into traditional fine art or fine craft shows at the time. Many of us were working with handmade goods, upcycled clothing and textiles, jewelry, prints, and other non-traditional crafts, and there weren’t many places for us to sell our work — so we created our own events and markets.

Later, I became involved with the Queen City Craft Bazaar, first as a vendor selling my handmade jewelry, and eventually I took over organizing and running the show for several years. The Bazaar was a curated show that brought together independent artists and makers at a time when there still weren’t many opportunities for small makers to sell their work locally.

That experience — as both a vendor and an organizer — shaped how I think about small creative businesses, markets, and community. Meadow & Moon is, in many ways, a continuation of that world: part shop, part creative project, and part community-focused market concept.

Looking ahead, Meadow & Moon will also continue to grow beyond just an online shop and curated collection. After many years of organizing markets and working with makers and small creative businesses, I’m interested in creating small, curated markets and events that bring together artists, collectors, resellers, and interesting small businesses in unique spaces. Meadow & Moon has always been about more than just selling things — it’s about community, creativity, and creating spaces where small businesses and creative people can connect and grow.
